Our initiative in India is closely connected with Light Society, a nonprofit organization based in Andhra Pradesh. Light Society operates Light KIDS English Medium School, which offers education to children. For some students to attend, room and board are necessary, which we provide in partnership with Light HOME.

Light HOME provides accommodation and meals for children living in extreme poverty, enabling them to receive an English education at Light KIDS School at little to no cost.

The core of our charitable efforts focuses on matching sponsors with these children to introduce them to the message of unconditional love, help them recognize their value, and provide them with the resources necessary to break the cycle of poverty.

Light HOME started in a one room home by the vision of one Indian man, a Dalit , who desired more for his people. They have housed and educated hundreds of children since its opening in 2012.

Advanced education is generally never available to the Dalit community due to caste discrimination, as they were traditionally called “untouchables” and not worthy of the gift of education.
