Light Society is an outreach in India run and founded by local individuals. "LIGHT is a not-for-profit organization which is dedicated to provide a safe and secure environment for orphan, poor, abandoned, neglected and underprivileged children of India. Since 2006 we have been actively involved in the holistic development of children and the community. Our main focus is on Dalit (Untouchable) children and communities as they are the underprivileged and poorest in Indian society." LightKids.org

In very exciting news, the organization is building a new hospital with their vision of healthcare access. Their hospital ministry will specifically be focusing on providing access to rural women in India for pregnancy and childbirth related medical care without discrimination for economic means, caste, race or religion. 

This vision is becoming a reality and they had their ground-breaking dedication ceremony recently.
